Big congratulations to Vijay Sivaraman, Hassan Habibi Gharakheili from EET and Ayyoob Hamza on the successful grant of their Australian patent: "Apparatus and process for detecting network security attacks on IoT devices." This pioneering invention is among the first to create an AI-driven, real-time anomaly detection engine using the standardised IETF MUD framework to establish baseline IoT behaviour. The model has been rigorously tested across diverse IoT devices and validated against a wide range of cyber-attacks, marking a significant step forward in IoT security. The patent reflects the team's deep research at UNSW Engineering and is now being put into practice through Canopus Networks' AI-native Network Observability platform. A major achievement and an important contribution to strengthening global IoT security. See Original Post via LI (.com Back to Index |
