Around February's first New Moon on the 17th: a) CHINESE NEW YEAR - - Fire Horse. Freedom, Forward, Expansion after last Year's Wood Snake shedding its old skin. Try not to burn out by consuming everything you encounter. Find your rhythm. Amble, walk, trot, canter, gallop at the right times in the conversations or projects. From the previous Fire Horse year, 1966, we had: - - Australia changing to Decimal Currency, - - China initiated a Cultural Revolution, - - India welcomed a new Prime Minister, Indira Ghandi, - - Indonesia started a "new order" under Suharto, - - World marches-in-peace against the excalating war. b) SOLAR ECLIPSE FORTNIGHT (Feb 17 - Mar 03) - - life path course corrections - e.g. new Federal liberal Party Leader, illegal tariff ruling by supreme court. The next fortnight will be Aug 13-28. c) RAMADAN this year, has co-incided with February. It lasts until the next New Moon. Plenty of good food after sunset while cultivating self-discipline, patience, gratitude, and empathy for the less fortunate. | |
